At Lake Dow Learning Academy, we help by stepping in to extend a hand during those tough times. We have a network of resources for parents when help is needed.

Our comprehensive resources and team give families the support they need to be successful. Our specialized programs and services offer opportunities to enhance family well-being and reduce stress.
Our center has a dedicated resource network and we offer several tools for parents and families, including educational workshops, bilingual caregiver support groups, parent resource tips and access to "resource-friendly" activities both within our center and in the community.
The goal of our healthcare referral network is to improve the lives of individuals and families in our extended Lake Dow family that require medical support. In addition, we strive to close the gap between those with manageable conditions that are kept under control and those that have escalated into crisis situations due to neglect.
Our goal is to continue working and cooperating with churches, social service agencies and other agencies to identify members of our extended Lake Dow family and their clothing needs. Warm clothing during the winter months is essential to survival amongst our children. In addition, appropriate school clothing allows our children to focus on education. Our solution is to provide opportunities and programs through which those who are unable to provide their own clothing can depend on.
Our goal is to increase the unevenly distributed food assistance programs within our extended Lake Dow family and increase the ability and willingness of those in need to rely on the available systems to eliminate food deficiencies. Our solution is to create more neighborly food assistance programs that provide a true sense feeling of family helping family.
The goal of our housing referral network is to continue to partner with agencies, companies, other organizations and private citizens to help those in need within our extended Lake Dow family to improve and maintain the conditions of their homes. We have been able to meet the immediate needs for housing assistance by collaborating on innovative solutions to help furnish, repair, upgrade for handicap accessibility, clean, declutter and obtain housing.
During the first six years of life, emotionally nourishing relationships lay the foundation for lifelong health and well-being. By supporting the caring adults who touch the lives of children, we hope to maximize our long-term impact in ensuring all children have a bright future.
